Section 508 compliance should be a top priority at your organization if you:
- Sell products or services to federal government agencies. All government agencies are required to comply with section 508 regulations.
- Contract with federal government agencies. All digital documents and communications are required to be section 508 compliant too!
- Receive federal funding and produce a good or service for the general public. Organizations that receive federal funding (i.e., educational institutions, research facilities, etc.) are also required to comply with section 508 regulations.
